Her Campus Media Remains a Business for Birth Control
In 2017, the United States Department of Health and Human Services released a regulation that eliminated guaranteed coverage for birth control under the Affordable Care Act by allowing virtually any employer to deny coverage. When that happened, we assured our employees that Her Campus Media would continue to provide insurance coverage of birth control, and we proudly committed ourselves as a Business for Birth Control.
Now in 2020, the right to guaranteed coverage for birth control under employer-provided insurance is again under attack. And now more than ever, we are steadfast in our continued commitment as a Business for Birth Control.
We are a company that values our employees tremendously, and we believe that supporting and respecting those who work here is paramount to everyone's success and wellbeing. Access to birth control is fundamental. We know that birth control is often basic health care for women, and much more.
Her Campus Media commits to protect our employees' access to birth control and is proud to remain a Business for Birth Control.
