Devin Tomb is the executive editor of Prevention.com, which aims to provide its 7 million online readers the best in health, nutrition, and fitness information. Since starting in April 2019, she has already added more than one million unique visitors to the site and launched popular columns including Sleep Diaries and Ask a Therapist. Previously, she was the deputy editor at GoodHousekeeping.com, where she oversaw the brand’s health and nutrition coverage, in addition to other key topics, and helped grow the site to its current readership of 25 million users. Her work has been recognized by Hearst by receiving nominations for Hearst Excellence Awards three years in a row, a first-of-its-kind record. Her reporting spans across topics such as child marriage, auto-immune diseases, and the intersection of suicide and middle age. She was also a senior editor at SELF, where she edited the magazine’s medical contributors, Dr. Harry Lodge and Dr. Catherine Birndorf, among other high-profile writers. Devin began her career as an editorial assistant at Glamour magazine, where she reported on health, career, and personal finance issues and assisted in organizing Glamour’s iconic Women of the Year Awards. She studied journalism at the Pennsylvania State University and studied abroad in Paris, France before graduating cum laude.
