Her Campus Media Puts Its Own Spin on Fashion Week

BOSTON, MA - Her Campus Media, the #1 new-media brand for the empowered college woman, is once again bringing its renowned fashion expertise to the runway for its 6th annual College Fashion Week® hitting Boston on September 23 and New York City on September 30. An open casting call has slated real college women of all shapes and sizes from 18 college campuses and backgrounds to model the season's hottest trends for a spectacular runway rendezvous – right in their own college towns.

Along with its official media partner POPSUGAR, a global media and technology company including lifestyle media publisher POPSUGAR and monthly subscription box POPSUGAR Must Have, Her Campus’s College Fashion Week will be showcasing top talent from the next generation of emerging female fashion designers and entrepreneurs. European fashion giant, Primark, is this year’s headline sponsor and will not only be seen throughout the shows for the designers' collections but will also be showcasing an exclusive look at its Fall ’17 collection, presenting one head-to-toe Primark fashion show in each city. This year’s fashion entrepreneurs include Avec Les Fille, VETTA Capsule, and in partnership with FORAY Collective, Vici Collection, XIX Palms and Cleobella. After the shows, attendees will be available to shop the runway via Lust Have, a style app showcasing the latest fashion trends straight from College Fashion Week.

The evenings' events will also feature engaging activations and giveaways courtesy of 2017 sponsors including featured hair & eye makeup trends at the Beauty Bar by Ulta Beauty, style inspiration from the Primark Dream Closet, sparkling water from Spindrift, hair consultations from Bed Head by TIGI, a green screen photo booth from student travel company StudentUniverse transporting students around the world to a number of fashion capitals, and beauty products from IT Cosmetics. With more than 100 influencers from the Her Campus InfluenceHer Collective in attendance, including VIP influencers sponsored by #1 selling contact lens brand, ACUVUE®, College Fashion Week provides attendees with exclusive access to the season’s top trends - and an experience they will never forget.
